Only 7 Women In The World Can Wear White To See The Pope

Only 7 women in the world can wear white to officially meet the Pope.

This is the traditional protocol of the “privilège du blanc.”

President Donald Trump’s first visit to Pope Francis captured the world’s attention for various reasons, both because of their differences of perspective on sensitive issues and also because both Melania and Ivanka wore a black dress and veil to meet the Holy Father.
The Holy See does not impose a compulsory dress code, but does suggest a protocol for state visits and hearings with the Pope, both for men and women.

Pope Francis Reveals The Reason He Fell During Mass At Krakow Poland

Pope Francis Reveals The Reason He Fell During Mass At Krakow Poland

During Mass at the Jasna Gora Monastery in the southern city of Czestochowa Pope Francis stumbled at the altar and had to be helped to his feet.

Francis, walking in his vestments with a thurible in his hand, did not notice a step down from the platform and fell to the ground before the altar.
He was quickly helped to his feet by Vatican Master of Ceremonies, Msgr. Guido Marini. He was uninjured and finished the event.
When asked about the fall during a press conference aboard the papal plane returning from Krakow to Rome, Pope Francis revealed the real reason he fell.

He fell for Our Lady.

“I was busy gazing at the Virgin and I forgot about the little step! I was holding the thurible and when I felt I was falling I let myself go and this is what saved me. Had I resisted the fall, there would have been consequences. But everything was ok. I’m fine.”

Asked if Francis had suffered any ill effects from the fall, a Vatican spokesman, Greg Burke, said ‘the pope is fine.’

The Ordinary & Extraordinary Powers of the Devil

“The world must know that Satan exists,” he told Catholic News Agency (CNA) in 2011. “The devil and demons are many and they have two powers, the ordinary and the extraordinary.”
