What do you think is the right thing to do?
So the General Instruction of the Roman Missal number 43 states that “…if appropriate, one may sit or kneel during the period of sacred silence after Communion.”
This is to say that, in as much is it seems most desirable and worthy to kneel after Communion understanding the Person of Our LORD Jesus Christ whom we receive in Holy Communion, this does not mean that the person who sits after Communion is doing the wrong things.
In most areas, people tends to kneel, but it is also good to follow the teachings of the local ordinary that is your Bishop or your Parish Priest with regards to what is to be done.
Most importantly, you should strive to make your Communion fruitful by uniting yourself to Christ in deep meditation and love and this I think is what matters the most.
