John Chrystostom was an early church father, and doctor of the church, that was born in A.D. 347. He was the Bishop of Constantinople and regularly spoke out against Ecclesiastical and political abuse.
His writings and homilies are immense and include many commentaries and treatises. One of his lasting impacts on the Faith is seen in the divine liturgy of the Eastern churches.
