But not a hair of your head will perish” (Luke 21:12-17).

The gift of understanding helps us to know more clearly the mysteries of faith. “I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord; and they shall be my people and I will be their God” (Jeremiah 24:7).

6.) Counsel:

The gift of counsel assists us to discern what is right and what is wrong. It helps us in our ability to decide the path of God. “Go in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is difficult, that leads to life, and those who find it are few” (Matthew 7: 13-14).
