Daily Prayer Of Resignation To God’s Will In Death

Daily Prayer Of Resignation To God’s Will In Death

Prayer of Resignation to God’s Will in Death.

“My most sweet Jesus, I accept the death Thou has destined for me; with all the pains that may accompany it; I unite it to Thy death, I offer it to Thee. Thou hast died for love of me; I will die for love of Thee and to please Thee”.

A sure means of salvation: From the writings of St. Francis de Sales, Bishop and Doctor of the Church:

“Many people are tormented at death with the remembrance of their sins, and seeing that they have done no penance, are tempted to despair.” He tells us that there is a perfect remedy – Namely, “to accept death and unite your death with that of Jesus Christ. And I do not at all doubt that he who is grieved for having offended God and accepts death willingly in satisfaction for his sins will immediately obtain pardon.” From the book “Preparation For Death” by St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori, Bishop and Doctor of the Church

“To accept death in order that the will of God may be fulfilled, merits for us a reward similar to that of the martyrs, because they accepted death to please God. He who dies in union with the will of God makes a holy death; and the more closely he is united to it, the more holy death he dies. The Venerable Blosius declares that an act of perfect conformity to the will of God at the hour of death not only delivers us from Hell but also from Purgatory.”

Daily Prayer of Resignation in Death.

“My most sweet Jesus, I accept the death Thou has destined for me; with all the pains that may accompany it; I unite it to Thy death, I offer it to Thee. Thou hast died for love of me; I will die for love of Thee and to please Thee.”

It is recommended that you say this prayer daily as we do not know the day of our death, and what a blessing it would be to have said it on our last day.

Catholic Devotions With Promises Of Salvation – Holy Face Devotion

Catholic Devotions With Promises Of Salvation – Holy Face Devotion

Holy Face Devotion

On November 24, 1843, Our Lord spoke the following words to the French Carmelite, Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre:

“The earth is covered with crimes. The violation of the first three Commandments of God has irritated My Father. The Holy Name of God blasphemed, and the Holy Day of the Lord profaned, fills up the measure in iniquities. These sins have risen unto the Throne of God and provoked His wrath which will soon burst forth if His justice be not appeased. At no time have these crimes reached such a pitch.”

Our Lord appeared several times to Sister Marie to ask for reparation to be done to His Holy Face. These revelations enjoy the full approval of the Catholic Church. Heaven has told us through Sister Marie that the Holy Face of Jesus is a symbol of the Catholic Religion. Is this not a veiled prophecy for the Church of our day? The crisis of Faith that has stricken the Church since the 1960’s is one that has corrupted and disfigured the face of Catholicism.

1. The Golden Arrow Prayer:-

An act of Praise and Reparation dictated by Our Lord to Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre:

“May the Most Holy, Most Sacred, Most Adorable, Most Incomprehensible and Unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. Amen.”

After receiving this prayer, Sister Marie was given a vision in which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by the “Golden Arrow” as torrents of graces streamed from It for the conversion of sinners.

2. Prayer to reproduce the Image of God in Our Souls:

“I salute thee, I adore Thee and I love Thee, adorable face of my beloved Jesus, as the noble stamp of the Divinity! Completely surrendering my soul to Thee, I most humbly beg Thee to stamp this seal upon us all, so that the image of God may once more be reproduced by its imprint in our souls. Amen”

3. Holy Face aspiration to be recited frequently during the day:

“Be merciful to us, O my God and reject not our prayers, when amid our afflictions, we call upon Thy Holy Name and seek with love and confidence Thine adorable Face. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Holy Face of Jesus, covered with Blood, Sweat, dust and spittle, in reparation for the crimes of communists, blasphemers and by the profaners of His Holy Name and of the Holy Day of Sunday”.

4. Our Lord told Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre on March 16, 1844:

“Oh if you only knew what great merit you acquire by saying even once, ‘Admirable is the Name of God,’in the spirit of reparation of blasphemy.” (say often).

5. To appease God’s justice and Draw down mercy upon us:

“Eternal Father, turn away Thy angry gaze from all guilty people whose faces have become unsightly in Thy eyes. Look instead upon the face of Thy beloved Son, for this is the Face of Him in whom Thou are well pleased. We now offer Thee this Holy Face, covered with shame and disfigured by bloody bruises, in reparation for the crimes of our age, in order to appease Thy anger, justly provoked against us. Because Thy Divine Son, our Redeemer, has taken upon His head all the sins of His people that they might be spared, we now beg of Thee, Eternal Father to grant us mercy. Amen”

6. “O Lord Jesus Christ, in presenting ourselves before Thine adorable Face to ask of Thee the graces of which we stand most in need, we beseech Thee, above all, to grant us that interior disposition of never refusing at any time to do what Thou requires of us by Thy holy commandments and divine inspirations. Eternal Father, we offer Thee the adorable Face of Thy well-beloved Son, for the honor and glory of Thy Holy Name and for the salvation of our country. Eternal Father, I ask of Thee as many souls as was the number of the drops of Blood as Thy Divine Son shed in His Passion.” (She was given a vision of Hell and the multitude of souls falling in, and was invited to pray for poor sinners. Dec. 21, 1846).

7. “Eternal Father, I offer Thee Our Savior, Jesus Christ for the expiation of my sins and for the needs of the Holy Church. Amen.”

Promises of Our Lord Jesus Christ to Sr. Marie in favor of those who honor and adore His Holy Face.

Our Lord said to StGertrude concerning all those who would honor the Holy Face:

“They shall receive in themselves, by the impression if My humanity, a bright irradiation of My divinity, and shall be so illuminated by it in their inmost souls that, by their likeness to My Face, they shall shine in eternal life with a brightness surpassing that of many others”

Our Lord promised to St. Mechtilde:

“Those who embrace this work of reparation with true piety will not be lost, for I Myself will defend them before My Father and I will give them the Kingdom of Heaven. I will grant them the grace of final perseverance”

Our Lord promised to Sr. Mary of St. Peter:

“To imprint His Divine likeness upon the souls of those who honor the features of His face.”

“By my Holy Face you shall work wonders! Through this holy Face you will obtain the conversion of many sinners. Nothing that you ask in virtue of the Holy Face will be refused to you. Oh if you only knew how pleasing is the sight of My face to My father, Just as in an earthly kingdom, money which is stamped with the picture of the sovereign or ruling executive of the country procures whatever one desires to purchase, so, likewise, in the kingdom of heaven, you shall obtain all that you desire by offering the coin of My precious humanity, which is My adorable face, Our Lord assured me that all persons who would apply themselves to this Work of Reparation to His Holy Face would perform the same service on His behalf as that which the saintly Veronica performed”.

“I will give you My adorable Face and each time that you present it to My Father, My mouth will be open to plead your cause. In proportion to the care you take in making reparation to My face disfigured by blasphemies, I will take care of yours, disfigured by sin. I will imprint My image on it and render it as beautiful as when it was washed in the waters of Baptism”.

Then Our Lord promised me that all who defended His cause in the Work of Reparation, whether by their words, their prayers or by their writing, He would Himself defend before His eternal Father, and that He would give them His Kingdom. Then it seemed to me that Our Lord urged me to extend this promise in His name to His priests who through a crusade of preaching would advance the cause of Reparation.

As for His spouses who would strive to honor and wipe His Holy Face in a spirit of atoning for blasphemies, Our Lord promised that at their death He would purify the face of their souls by effacing the stains of sin, and that He would restore to them their original beauty.

I believe that God has great plans of showing mercy to souls by revealing to us the power of His adorable Countenance. In this priceless gift we possess an infallible means of appeasing the anger of the Eternal Father, irritated by blasphemers, because whenever we beg Him to cast a look upon the Face of His Divine Son, the rod falls from His hands.

Prayers In Honor Of The 7 Sorrows Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

Prayers In Honor Of The 7 Sorrows Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

Prayers in Honor of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Pope Pius VII Approved This Devotion in Honor of the Seven Sorrows for daily meditation in 1815:

O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

1. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the affliction of Thy tender heart at the prophecy of the holy and aged Simeon. Dear Mother, by Thy heart so afflicted, obtain for me the virtue of humility and the gift of the holy fear of God. Hail Mary…

2. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the anguish of Thy most affectionate heart during the flight into Egypt and Thy sojourn there. Dear Mother, by Thy heart so troubled, obtain for me the virtue of generosity, especially toward the poor, and the gift of piety. Hail Mary…

3. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in those anxieties which tried Thy troubled heart at the loss of Thy dear Jesus. Dear Mother, by Thy heart so full of anguish, obtain for me the virtue of chastity and the gift of knowledge. Hail Mary…

4. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the consternation of Thy heart at meeting Jesus as He carried His Cross. Dear Mother, by Thy heart so troubled, obtain for me the virtue of patience and the gift of fortitude. Hail Mary…

5. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the martyrdom which Thy generous heart endured in standing near Jesus in His agony. Dear Mother, by Thy afflicted heart obtain for me the virtue of temperance and the gift of counsel. Hail Mary…

6. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, in the wounding of Thy compassionate heart, when the side of Jesus was struck by the lance before His Body was removed from the Cross. Dear Mother, by Thy heart thus transfixed, obtain for me the virtue of fraternal charity and the gift of understanding. Hail Mary…

7. I grieve for Thee, O Mary most sorrowful, for the pangs that wrenched Thy most loving heart at the burial of Jesus. Dear Mother, by Thy heart sunk in the bitterness of desolation, obtain for me the virtue of diligence and the gift of wisdom. Hail Mary…

Let Us Pray:

Let intercession be made for us, we beseech Thee, O Lord Jesus Christ, now and at the hour of our death, before the throne of Thy mercy, by the Blessed Virgin Mary, Thy Mother, whose most holy soul was pierced by a sword of sorrow in the hour of Thy bitter Passion. Through Thee, O Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns world without end. Amen.

The Blessed Virgin Mary revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373) that seven graces are granted to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Mary’s and meditating on her tears and dolors.

1) I will grant peace to their families.

2) They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries.

3) I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.

4) I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.

5) I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.

6) I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother.

7) I have obtained (This Grace) from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy.

St. Alphonsus Liguori testifies to complementary revelations given by Our Lord to St. Elizabeth of Hungary (1207-1231) where Jesus further promises four special graces to those dedicated to the sufferings of the co-redeeming Mother:

1. That those who before death invoke the Blessed Mother in the name of her sorrows, should obtain true repentance of all their sins.

2. That He would protect in their tribulations all who remember this devotion, and that He would protect them especially at the hour of death.

3. That He would impress upon their minds the remembrance of His Passion, and that they should have their reward for it in Heaven.

4. That He would commit such devout clients to the hands of Mary, so that she might obtain for these souls all the graces she wanted to lavish upon them.

“Holy Trinity, Whom I Adore” – A Prayer Of St. Elizabeth Of The Trinity

“Holy Trinity, Whom I Adore” – A Prayer Of St. Elizabeth Of The Trinity

“Holy Trinity, Whom I Adore”

A Prayer Of St. Elizabeth Of The Trinity.

“O my God, Trinity whom I adore, let me entirely forget myself that I may abide in You, still and peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity; let nothing disturb my peace nor separate me from You, O my unchanging God, but that each moment may take me further into the depths of Your mystery! Pacify my soul! Make it Your heaven, Your beloved home and place of Your repose; let me never leave You there alone, but may I be ever attentive, ever alert in my faith, ever adoring and all given up to Your creative action.

O my beloved Christ, crucified for love, would that I might be for You a spouse of Your heart! I would anoint You with glory, I would love You – even unto death! Yet I sense my frailty and ask You to adorn me with Yourself; identify my soul with all the movements of Your soul, submerge me, overwhelm me, substitute Yourself in me that my life may become but a reflection of Your life. Come into me as Adorer, Redeemer and Savior.

O Eternal Word, Word of my God, would that I might spend my life listening to You, would that I might be fully receptive to learn all from You; in all darkness, all loneliness, all weakness, may I ever keep my eyes fixed on You and abide under Your great light; O my Beloved Star, fascinate me so that I may never be able to leave Your radiance.

O Consuming Fire, Spirit of Love, descend into my soul and make all in me as an incarnation of the Word, that I may be to Him a super-added humanity wherein He renews His mystery; and You O Father, bestow Yourself and bend down to Your little creature, seeing in her only Your beloved Son in whom You are well pleased.

O my`Three’, my All, my Beatitude, infinite Solitude, Immensity in whom I lose myself, I give myself to You as a prey to be consumed; enclose Yourself in me that I may be absorbed in You so as to contemplate in Your light the abyss of Your Splendor! Amen.
