“We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will, with all the wisdom and understanding that His Spirit gives. That you may always live as the Lord wants and always do what pleases Him, your lives will produce all kinds of good deeds, and you will grow in your knowledge of God. May you be made strong with all the strength which comes from His glorious power, so that you may be able to endure everything with patience” (Col. :11-13).

“Happy are you if you are insulted because you are Christ follower; this means that the glory of the Spirit, the Spirit of God, is resting on you” (1Peter 4:14).

Many a time, I got fed-up with people’s words and insults about my constant attendance to religious activities including the Holy Mass and the recitation of the Rosary. I feel very much off when I pray, and this gives people room to make mockery of me, but now we are the best of friends and I know that all power and strength comes from You; this I wish that You increase in me so that even when the odds are many, I will soar like the eaglet with You the Eagle.

Oh Holy Spirit may your joy be my strength in all troubles and afflictions, hold me firm that I may not fall. Amen!
